Hi, I’m Tessa — the founder of LabelleameAU.

I’m a Bridal Makeup Artist, Hairstylist and Qualified Dermal Clinician with over 16 years of experience within the beauty industry, working across television, film, runway, editorial and bridal artistry.

Over the years, my career has taken me through some incredibly fast-paced and creative environments where precision, professionalism and adaptability were everything. Those experiences shaped not only my artistry, but also the calm and organised approach I bring to every wedding morning today.

While I’ve always loved the creativity of the beauty industry, bridal artistry quickly became the part of my career that felt the most meaningful.

Why I Chose Bridal Beauty

There is something so special about a wedding morning.

It’s emotional, exciting, beautiful and often a little chaotic all at once. Being trusted to step into those moments and help someone feel confident before one of the biggest moments of their life is something I never take for granted.

For me, bridal beauty has never simply been about makeup or hairstyling.

It’s about creating an experience.

I want my brides to feel calm, looked after and genuinely comfortable in their own skin. My goal has always been to create timeless beauty that still feels authentic to the person sitting in my chair.

Because the most beautiful brides are never the ones trying to look like someone else.

They’re the ones who still feel like themselves — just elevated, glowing and confident.

A Skin-Led Approach

Alongside my work in makeup artistry, I developed a strong passion for skin science and dermal therapies.

As a Qualified Dermal Clinician, I approach bridal makeup with a skin-first philosophy because beautiful makeup always begins with healthy, well-prepared skin.

I focus heavily on complexion work that enhances natural skin texture rather than masking it. Product compatibility, skin preparation and understanding how makeup performs both in person and on camera all play a huge role in my approach.

My style leans toward refined, polished and timeless beauty with a strong focus on longevity and comfort throughout the day.

Soft glam.

And makeup that still feels lightweight and wearable.

More Than Hair & Makeup

One thing the bridal industry has taught me is that brides need more than talented vendors around them.

They need calm energy.

Wedding mornings move quickly and emotions can run high, which is why I place such a strong focus on creating an atmosphere that feels organised, relaxed and enjoyable from start to finish.

Whether it’s helping steam dresses, fixing veils, creating timelines, calming nerves or pulling emergency items out of my bridal kit, I genuinely love being able to support my brides beyond just beauty services.

Those little moments are often the most meaningful.

Life, Business & The Coffs Coast

In 2023, my husband and I relocated to the beautiful Coffs Coast, a place that has always felt incredibly special to us.

Since moving here, I’ve had the privilege of working with brides across the Mid North Coast, Northern Rivers, Gold Coast and beyond while continuing to grow both Labelleame Aesthetics and Labelleame Education.

Building a business that combines artistry, skin education, creativity and connection has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey so far.
