Hi, we’re Tessa and Andrew, the husband and wife team behind LabelleameAU.

LabelleameAU is more than a brand to us. It is a reflection of our journey together. The beautiful moments, the difficult chapters, the lessons, the love, the risks we took and the life we’ve built side by side. 

Everything you see today has been created with intention, heart and a genuine love for people. 

LabelleameAU was first founded by Tessa in 2010, long before it became what it is today.

At the time, it was simply a young woman with a makeup kit, a creative mind and an unwavering determination to succeed in an industry that can often feel impossible to break into. What began as a passion for makeup artistry quickly evolved into a career spanning television, film, runway and editorial work throughout Australia and internationally.

Working as a Makeup Artist, Hairstylist and Creative Director for a Queensland talent agency, Tessa spent years refining her artistry under high-pressure environments where perfection, timing and adaptability mattered. It was during these years that her signature approach to complexion artistry was born… understanding skin, lighting and how beauty translates both in person and on camera.

Those early years built the foundation of everything LabelleameAU represents today: calmness under pressure, attention to detail and creating beauty that feels timeless, effortless and authentic.

In 2020, LabelleameAU entered a new chapter with the opening of Tessa’s first independent Skin Clinic in Nundah, QLD, followed by two more clinics in Everton Park and Stones Corner. 

These spaces became more than just clinics. They became safe spaces. Places where women could walk in feeling overwhelmed or uncertain and leave feeling confident, empowered and cared for. Alongside advanced skin treatments, bridal hair and makeup continued to flourish and slowly became the heart of the business. 

But life has a way of rewriting plans when we least expect it to. 

In 2022, Tessa was diagnosed with uterine cancer. 

It was a life-altering moment that forced everything to slow down. The clinics were closed, priorities shifted and suddenly success looked very different than it once had. 

What followed was a season of healing, reflection and rediscovery. A season that reminded us both that life is not just about building a career, it is about building a life that feels meaningful. 

And somewhere amongst all of that… love found its way in too. 

In 2021, Tessa met Andrew. 

Andrew is a qualified chef with over 20 years of experience in hospitality and a genuine love for creating beautiful experiences through food, atmosphere and connection. While our careers looked different on paper, we quickly realised we shared the same values — creativity, passion, people and the belief that the smallest details often become the most memorable moments. 

In 2023, we were married on the Gold Coast, surrounded by the people we love most. Planning our own wedding deepened our appreciation for the wedding industry in a way we never expected. We experienced firsthand the emotion, excitement and the vulnerability that comes with planning such an important day, and it made us fall even more in love with helping others create those memories for themselves. 

That love became part of the heartbeat behind LabelleameAU. 

Shortly after our wedding, we made the decision to completely uproot our lives and begin again on the stunning Mid North Coast of New South Wales. 

Leaving behind familiarity was scary, but sometimes the most beautiful chapters begin with a leap of faith. 

From there, Labelleame Aesthetics continued to grow, with Tessa travelling throughout Queensland and New South Wales providing bridal hair and makeup services for hundreds of beautiful brides. In 2026, she was honoured to receive the Number 1 Bridal Makeup Artist and Hairstylist Award for the Mid North Coast and Northern Rivers Regions through the Wedding Industry Awards Australia. 

While awards are incredibly meaningful, what matters most to us has always been the trust people place in us during some of the most intimate and emotional moments of their lives. That trust is something we never take lightly. 

As the years passed, one thing became increasingly clear… knowledge is meant to be shared. 

Behind every achievement were years of mistakes, uncertainty and learning things the hard way. Tessa built her career without a strong mentor to guide her and understands firsthand how overwhelming this industry can feel when you are trying to navigate it alone. 

That is exactly why Labelleame Education was created.

Labelleame Education exists to help aspiring and established artists refine their skills, elevate their businesses and feel supported through honest, practical education. It is built on the belief that there is room for everyone to succeed and that collaboration will always be more powerful than competition.

In many ways, it has become the mentorship Tessa wishes she had many years ago.

Even with everything we had built, we both felt there was still something more we wanted to create together.

We realised that what we truly love most is love itself. The emotion of a wedding morning. The nervous excitement before walking down the aisle. The champagne toasts, the laughter, the quiet moments in between. Watching two people celebrate the beginning of a new chapter together never loses its magic for us.

And so, Amour & Aube was born.

While there are still many exciting things to come, Amour & Aube represents our shared love for creating meaningful, elevated experiences that couples will remember forever.

LabelleameAU is not just a business. 

It is years of hard work, resilience, reinvention and love woven together into something deeply personal. It is the story of where we have been, what we have overcome and the future we are continuing to build together.
